Asmaa Houri

Ma ville m’a tuer

  • Bozar

The theatre director Asmaa Houri made her name with her company Théâtre Anfass, and for this new creation is working with one of the best-known Moroccan poets, Abdallah Zrika. Zrika writes free poetry and occupies a prominent position in contemporary Arabic literature. Together, the pair create a narrative about the city, populated with disturbed characters that rise up against its decline, indifference and cruelty. In these intimate tales, mystical encounters, escalating disputes and streams of thought, theatre and poetry come together.
